In his session, “Defining Success for Data Quality,” Storment will answer a series of questions, such as how do you determine what to track and what drives analytics success? When it comes to tag governance and data quality, what do you monitor first and what is most critical to ensure no outages? How do you align your organization internally to ensure that data strategy and data quality are a priority?
Storment is a Front End Developer at REI. He takes those technical requirements and builds platform software, processes, and best practices for the suite of analytics tools used by developers and marketers at the Co-op. works on the Insights Enablement team, architecting and building technical solutions for both Web and Marketing Analytics, including tag management, data governance, javascript development, multivariate testing, and standardization across many platforms and partners. While serving this technical niche between IT, Marketing, and Digital Retail, a crucial part of the team's responsibility is to ensure the trustworthiness of the data pipeline, so that the business can make well-informed decisions.
