ObservePoint Announces New Feature—Comparison Reports

SILICON SLOPES, Utah, Feb 13, 2019 — ObservePoint, the automated tag governance and marketing attribution platform, is glad to announce the launch of their newest feature,  Comparison Reports—an efficient reporting feature that allows customers to quickly see changes in their analytics implementation as they make updates. 

The Comparison Reports feature couples with ObservePoint’s Web Audit solution and is designed to simplify the way ObservePoint customers evaluate their tagging implementations over time. These reports allow users to efficiently compare tags, variables, and values from previous Web Audits, providing them with a clear view of how their analytics implementation is changing.

“If there’s one thing ObservePoint customers and professionals in the marketing analytics industry can count on when managing websites and their associated analytics implementations, it’s ongoing change. As a website goes through regular updates, the associated analytics implementation must stay in-sync. When these two pieces fall out of sync, analytics implementations become misconfigured and data integrity falls,” said Mike Maziarz, Lead Product Manager at ObservePoint. “As a result, analytics professionals need a way to monitor their analytics implementation over time to ensure ongoing alignment with their website, which is where Comparison Reports comes in.”

ObservePoint customers can set up Comparison Reports to alert them on an ongoing basis—so they can identify changes with each new audit they run—or if customers only need a one-time report, they can set up ad-hoc comparisons. 

Having the capability to monitor changes in an analytics implementation with each new Web Audit will help analytics professionals identify and fix errors at a much faster rate than they could otherwise. This reporting functionality will provide analytics professionals with confidence in their data while they work to move their business forward.
